Asteria Cave Hotel - Goreme

Excellent place with amenities like wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely restaurant. The staff helped me with early check-in. I'm definitely coming back for Christmas!

The personnel is customer-focused.

The room is really very small.

Best possible location with free parking if needed and very close to the beautiful sunset point as well as many restaurants nearby. Also, up on a slope af a fairy chimney close to the town's centre. Central heating, an iron and ironing board, and a coffee/tea maker available in the standard double room. Good assortment of breads and cheese for breakfast.

Beds were a bit lumpy.

The cleanliness issues in bathrooms need attention!!! Stuffy room conditions were uncomfortable!!! Heating issues could severely impact your comfort at night if not addressed!!!

It's location was good, I was at a walking distance to all the restaurants.

The tv and some electric plugs didn't work in my room. Rooms definitely need better cleaning/aeration because of the moist smell in the room and dust underneath beds. Staff needs to provide more silence. They talk too loud and the music they play in the daytime is unnecessary as people want to get back to their rooms in the noon time either for taking some rest during the hot sunny times or for some noon sleep .

Hotel itself was nice enough, but our room was not charming comparing the other rooms(all rooms seemed different and we did not have a room with volt ceiling and window....unfortunately it seemed we had a worst room). Better let them know which room you want in advance. Shower was not good at all - low pressure and no hot water. One of the light was not working, so the room was very dark.... (our room did not have any window!).

great view but hard beds

The breakfast spread was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fresh watermelon and various spreads with the bread. The view from the room was fine, especially with the hot air balloons floating by in the morning light.

The beds were hard, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The terrace views of the hot air balloons were lovely! The cave layout enhanced the experience.

Unique cave experience and great staff

Super cool vibe staying in a cave room! The staff was amaze, always ready to help, and the breakfast was super tasty with fresh pastry and tea on repeat. Plus, the view of the balloons in the morning was something else! The only bummer was that some of the furniture felt a bit dated.

The suite offered a amazing view of Goreme and the balloons at dawn, with a lovely terrace to enjoy it all. Staff provided exemplary service, showing genuine care. The room was quite nice, but the bathroom had some moisture issues and could benefit from better ventilation.
